day 2 - Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with your guide for a tour of the city by transport: discovery of the Red Square, the St-Basil Cathedral, the Gum, the Kremlin, the Bolshoi Theatre, The Manezhnaya, Tverskaya street, and the mount Vorobievy with its superb panorama and finally the view of the Novodevichiy monastery. Then, visit the St-Basil cathedral near the Red Square. 

Free lunch, and free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city of Moscow (In option: guided tour of the Tretyakov Gallery).

Free time for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Guided visit to the Kremlin and its cathedrals (by foot with your guide): Former residence of the czars, the country's largest and most famous fortress, the Kremlin is a collection of palaces and cathedrals, some of which date back to the 15th century. Its walls are also home to as many as 54 burials of former czars and many other curiosities (In option: Visit the Kremlin Armoury).  Not far away from it is the impressive Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, destroyed by Stalin, rebuilt as a pool in front of the cathedral’s entrance, then identically reconstructed in the 2000’s to the original edifice, and opened for worship upon completion.

Free lunch and afternoon (In option: Radisson cruise on the Moskova river).

In the morning guided visit on the choice:
Choice 1: Guided tour of the Kolomenskoye estate: From the 14th century, the Kolomenskoye estate was one of the places of residence of the great princes and czars.

Choice 2: Guided tour of the Pushkin Museum of fine arts. Considered as the most important art museum in Moscow, the museum occupies a white marble palace, southwest of the Kremlin. 

Free time for lunch and free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city of Moscow. (In option: Excursion to Sergiyev Posad. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sergiev Posad is today the seat of the Russian Patriarchate and a major pilgrimage site for the faithful who come to pray at the sarcophagus of the saint.

Free time for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

. Balance payment one month before departure

. The order of the excursions can be modified according the touristic sites or for any other technical reasons  

. Non-binding pictures 

. According to the Warsaw Convention, in case of delayed baggage delivery, in the context of air travel, the passenger must personally hand in a written protestation letter to the effective carrier (the air company ensuring the flight, which can be different from the selling company, in case of code-share flights) no more than 21 days after said luggage was given to them 

CANCELLATION POLICY

. If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before departure, the fee is 100€ 

. Between 30 and 20 days before departure, cancellation fee equals 25 % of the total amount of the trip price

. Between 19 and 13 days, the fee equals 35 %

. Between 12 and 9 days, the fee equals 60 %

. If the cancellation is made less than 9 days before departure, the cancellation fee is 100% of the total amount

Ticketing service: except if specified otherwise, flight and train tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable

Other services: insurance and administrative fees are non-refundable
