Departure for a guided tour of St. Isaac Cathedral and St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral (with a breathtaking climb to its collonade). The Orthodox Cathedral of St-Isaac, built in the nineteenth century under the reigns of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and Alexander II, had remained the center of religious life in St-Petersburg until the Revolution. The third-largest cathedral in Europe, it has a magnificent view of the city and of the Neva river from its main dome  which is 102 meters high.

Built by Alexander III on the spot where his father, Alexander II, was murdered in 1881, St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral was constructed in  Neo-Russian style.
