This orthodox cathedral, constructed in the 19th century under the reigns of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and Alexander II, was the center of religious life in St. Petersburg until the Revolution of 1917. The third largest cathedral in Europe, the main dome, which is 102 meters in height, offers a magnificent view of the Neva.
Hours of operation: Open from 10:30 am to 6 pm. Closed Wednesdays.
