Located more than 60 meters below ground, Bunker 42 of the Taganskaya district of Moscow is a former military communication post transformed into a museum of the Cold War. In these four "blocks" connected by an underground Metro system, more than 2,000 people worked in this location during the Soviet era. The entrances, either in the Metro or a discreet door in an alley, were built and maintained in the greatest of secrecy. The guides help create the impressive atmosphere of the Cold War.
Hours of operation: From 10 am to 21 pm.
