Housed in the private mansion of the collector Pavel Tretyakov in the heart of the picturesque Moscow district of "Zamoskvorietchy", the "Tretyakov" brings together the most important collection of Russian art and icons in the world, and displays the history of Russia from the 11th to the 20th centuries.
Hours of operation: Open from 10 am to 18 pm, and until 9 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Closed on Mondays.
